Shin-seisaku KyokaiIt is a group which was formed in 1951 when the Shin-seisaku-ha Association which was made up primary of western style painters and sculptors, joined with the Souzou Bijutsu group. The two groups both rejected the official exhibitions and shared an anti-establishment orientation. However, in 1974, the 23-year association dissolved with the Japanese painting section becoming the Soga-kai. |
