Inoue Shujo was born in Fukuoka Prefecture.
1961
He entered the Japanese painting department of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
1967
He completed his graduate studies at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He was appointed to the Inyu of the Japan Art Institute.
1983-1987
He took office as the managing director of the Nichifuten.
