History

1955

Morita Rieko was born in Kobe city, Hyogo Prefecture.

1978

She was graduated from the Nihon-ga department of the Kyoto City University of Arts.

1980

She completed a graduate course of the Kyoto City University of Arts.

1981

She was awarded at the Soga-ten spring exhibition.

1986

She was awarded the 1st Kawabata Ryushi prize.

1987

She exhibited at the Yamatane Museum Prize Exhibition ('89, '91, '93, '95).

2000

She was awarded the Kyoto City Artist Prize.
